We have seen lots of people and everyone has been very nice. We have seen no trouble at all here.
I read that Merida is the safest city in Mexico, and Yucatan is the safest state.
If Merida was part of the US it would be the 8th safest state, next to Hawaii. :)
I have no idea what the other states are, the article did not list them. I did think it was interesting.
